These are so stylish! My coworkers are jealous of my Xenas, and now want pairs of their own. I love that there is an all black, vegan option. It suits both my style and my values. I do have some critiques: 1. The shoe is not comfortable. While I can technically wear it mostly pain free, by the 7th or 8th hour of being in the lab/field (a full work day), my feet are begging to be freed. There is zero padding inside—not even at the ridge of the toe cap. I tried insoles, but the shoe is not conducive to even the thinnest insole I tried. I also wish the ankle “comfort stitching” was more than just a decorative feature, and actually provided some real padding. 2. It is incredibly difficult to put on. This is by far my biggest gripe. The zipper does not go down far enough to actually make these reasonable to put on! It makes no sense. Extend the zipper down 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, and these would be so much less annoying to wear! I have to nearly crush the shoe to put it on, and a shoe horn is an option, but the fabric has very little stretch, so it isn’t easier to put on, but does save my manicure. Seriously consider extending the zipper down. It would make this shoe almost perfect, excluding the comfort issue. Overall, the style is worth it, but if the above issues were fixed, these could be the most perfect safety shoe. *Please offer an all-black, vegan version of the Omegas!

Wowza. All I can as is how much I love these shoes. For being steel toe, I was not expecting a comfortable shoe...but I was wrong! After the 3 day breaking in period these are wonderful! A ton of compliments and questions if they really were safety shoes. Order up 1/2 a size and they will be your favorite shoe in no time! Two other female coworkers are already planning on getting them too. Highly recommended!!

Thank You!! My company has wanted me to get safety shoes for sometime. I couldn't find any that I liked, looked good and for that matter fit my 10 1/2 sized (1/2 size up) feet. You've done the impossible, I love you and your company. These boots are cute as all get out, they polish up real well and are as tough as a two dollar steak. My girl fiends love these and even the guys like them, on the 2nd day I wore them, I got a compliment from a guy walking past me to his motorcycle. As for the boots, they cover the bases wonderfully. Steel toe, anti static and anti slip, everything my company wants. The fit? I've worked in them daily for a week now and I love them. I got a 1/2 size up like the website says and I can work all day in clinical and hospital settings in these and still want to wear them out at night or even while not at work. They look that good. I'm going to get the brown next and even the new Blazer is going to get a look.

First the good: Love the look and got lots of compliments on the shoes. It's great to have an alternative to all the sneaker looking safety shoes out there and if you need something to put on for limited time, these are great but... Now the bad: I have to wear safety shoes for a long day on the manufacturing floor - 10-12 hours. These shoes **** my toes after about 4 hours. By 8 hours I was limping. I thought maybe they just needed breaking in so I've worn them about 3 days total when I wanted to be a bit more dressed up but there has been no improvement. Perhaps I should have gone a half size up.

PERFECT SHOES! I can’t get over how amazing these look and feel! I work as an accountant at a paper mill, so while I spend a majority of my time in the office, I do need to make daily trips to the mill area to pick up required paperwork. I hate always needing to switch between shoes, so these were so perfect since they fit for whatever I needed to do. Customer service was amazing as well! They even sent me really nice email with instructions on how to care for my shoes!

I love these shoes I have gotten so many compliments. They are sturdy and chic at the same time as a manager I needed a more professional work boots and I found these. I love that it comes in wide. I just wished they came with out the steel toe option as well. It took a couple of days to break them in and my only problem was actually getting my foot inside I have wide feet and ordered the wide so in the initial try on it was hard to get my foot inside but once I did it for great and with the leather it's adapting

I’ve received so many compliments on these boots and no one believes at first when I say they’re safe to work in! I’m still breaking them in and I’ve had them for about a week. However, I would recommend wearing them on carpet only if you’re unsure about the fit; I wore mine around the house but my house is primarily linoleum and the soles definitely showed signs of wear in just a few hours.

AH I love these booths! They're so soft, look professional, and wear well all day long, even after walking miles across a warehouse floor or a jobsite. I am a tall girl with big feet (typically a size 13) so I have been long awaiting the switch from my bulky, men's cowboy-boot style safety boots to something that looks a little more feminine.. and frankly much safer to move around in when I'm stepping through rebar cages and debris on the jobsite. I do recommend wearing cushy socks because the heel height, while comfortable, puts a little extra pressure on your toes in the steel-toe. Can't believe there's finally a women's 13 in a safety-shoe that looks this good. Thank you, Xena!

I purchased the cognac color. They got my order to the post quickly and the boots were packaged with care. They are actually more comfortable than I was anticipating given that I had seen several warnings on the site as to the break in period, I haven't had much issue with this at all aside from one issue comfort wise. Where the shoe ends around my ankle it is constantly hitting the underside of my ankle causing a bit of soreness. I imagine the leather will soften over time and the soreness itself is just a mild inconvenience rather than anything offensive. Other than that they are very comfortable to walk and move around in. I have had them and worn them for about a week now - save the weekends.

I was happily surprised on how comfortable it was to walk in these boots for day one. I might have taken it a bit too far. I ended up walking 10 miles around the yard that day. I got a blister, but that wasn’t surprising- as any new pair of boots needs a break-in period. I enjoyed being able to match up Xena boots with some slim-leg Carhartts, and a button down shirt. I loved how much traction I got and I was lookin/feeling good the whole day. I will continue to wear my Xenas and I can’t wait to get some more styles.

The bad: Run small. DO NOT order your current size or you'll be sorry. I'm a true 8 in women's and my toes hurt from being smashed in the front of this shoe. Due to the convenient return policy that states if there's any wear or creases on the shoe you can't return them without them discounting for said wear, AFTER they say it takes 3 to 5 days to break them in... poor return policy there. The good: They're VERY well made, stylish, and the soles are comfy too. Just not the 'toe' area. You won't be disappointed if you order 1/2 size up. My shoes feel like they're a size 7.5 when I wear an 8. I should have ordered an 8.5. Don't second guess yourself, just go the 1/2 size up! I'm leaving a 5 star rating because the shoe itself is fantastic, if it was sized to my foot properly!

The shoes are beautiful and they go so well with professional wear, however they are very uncomfortable, specially on the small toe area of both feet. When walking, the toe presses against steel toe part and really hurts. I’ve worn them on two work days so far, so I’m hopping they break in and are more comfortable. Also it would be nice if you had size 6 wide. I saw wide options but only only size 7 and up, therefore I only went 1/2 size up like suggested. If there was a cushiony part directly in the toes area below steel toe, this would be more comfortable,

I do wish the top didnt pucker as much, but overall a nice looking boot and comfortable. Overall soul comfort is nice. The zipper leaves bruises on the inner ankle bone. On Day 2 of wear there was a huge rain storm. Walking into the warehouse there was a large puddle of water/mud due to ongoing construction where I accidentally stepped and sunk into. I wiped the mud off the shoes with water and a paper towel. The color lifted. I now have one black shoe and one mostly faded shoe because the color came off.
