Thank the heavens for this boot! I've spent the last 9 years in big, ugly man boots because my size is never in stock at the store. My friend recommended me Xenas as she got a pair and loved them. While I got free vouchers from work to get a pair from their vendor, I never found a pair that looked nice, they were always bulky and got ruined within 2 months of owning them. But when I got my Xenas, I feel in love. They are lightweight, nice looking and most of all, they are durable. I did have to exchange the first pair as they were not the right fit, but I love my exchanged pair. I get compliments at work, and I feel more confident.

These shoes look very professional, not many guessed they were actually steel toe! I ordered a half size up as suggested and they fit well in the front but the rest of the sore fits a little loose. Totally fine if I wear slightly thicker socks. Easy fix, and probably just a general good idea, the socks I used to wear were barely anything lol

Glad I ordered a size up, it definitely helped. I wore them a few days to help break them in (as I would with normal work boots) and it helped a lot! I also wear thicker socks with them than I normally would too. Even though I already have feet problems these didn’t bother me after I broke them in. Great quality leather and soles, I might try ordering the black ones next!

Did I need these? No. I work as a CNA - nurse aide - in a hospital, so I don't wear these to work... BUT! I still say these were the best purchase I made. They were my Christmas present to myself, because I've been drooling over them since Xena first started making them. I have a weakness for heels, I love horseback riding, and my husbands' family owns a fairly large farming operation. All of the above, and I decided I deserved something nice. For me, I ordered my true size - size 9, wide width. There was literally no break in period. I was super comfy from the moment I put them on. To be fair, the longest I've worn is about 6 hours, running errands and doing chores. They arrived just in time to see some ice and snow, though, and they've handled it beautifully. I haven't slipped once on the ice/snow. Before I got these, I lived in crocs, just cheap walmart ones. I thought they were amazing. Now? I only wear the crocs for work, and I wear my Xenas everywhere else! At first, I meant to get orthopedic insoles, for more padding on my soles, but the longer I wear the shoes, the more I like the provides insoles. I'm definitely impressed with them!

I've had these for 2 years now, they've held up great. They're a little heavy, but you get used to it quick. There is a solid 2 week break in period, but after that they fit like a dream and have for 2 years straight now. I'm a sneaker size 8, flats size 7 or 7.5 and the size 8 fits comfortably, best with a thick pair of socks

The shoes are really cute in person. I wear a size 8 in everything and sized up to 8.5 like they recommended. The shoe fits great. They are tight and I have to use both hands to get on, they wont slip on. They took a long time to break in and walking in them is very uncomfortable after awhile. There is no padding (besides the insole) and my pinky toes rub against the shoe. The insole slips out, which I might be replacing with a more padded one for comfort. I end up taking them off when I'm at my desk so my feet won't be too beat up by the end of the day. Customer service is awesome and replied to my inquiry really fast.

I bought a pair of these last year. They last about a year (working 40-50 hours per week) which is typical of any safety shoe. They are super comfortable and I get so many compliments about them all the time since most other women in my shop wear clunky looking sneakers or boots. I just returned this year, and instead of 1, I bought 2 so I could have different colors to match my outfits. I bought brown last year and loved them, now I have black and green. And I’ve already gotten compliments on the green and what a nice color it is. Buy these shoes!

I used to keep a pair of boots in my trunk, but it isn't always practical when job sites are internal within a healthcare setting. These shoes are the perfect blend of style and practicality. It did take a full week to break them in, and I ordered the wide width so I can comfortably wear a thicker sock. I will definitely be purchasing other styles / colors in the near future.

Received my shoes February 2, 2022. After reading the reviews, I knew to order a half size up. However, I thought about how I always wear a 5.5 in sandals and a 6 in boots. I was afraid of ordering a 6.5 in the Gravity Boot, so I opted to order my normal size 6, which is the same size I order all of my boots, and I have many. Glad I went with my gut instinct, because the size 6 is perfect. Had I ordered a half size up, my shoes would have been too large. So take note. If you are like me and wear a different size depending upon the type of shoe, maybe consider ordering your normal boot size. Measure your foot to be sure of the size you ordering. I LOVE LOVE these boots. Thank you SO very much to the women that designed and made these boots! I'm so happy to finally wear a steel toe shoe that makes me feel like a woman.

I'm a Test Engineer supporting an Operations group in a shipyard. Most of my work happens at my desk, but I have to occasionally go to the boats or into production areas for some aspects of my job. I have a pair of 'traditional' safety boots at my desk, but I haven't worn them much since getting these. In fact, the only times I do wear my old boots are when I've forgotten to bring my Xenas back to work after taking them home to wear on a night out, or its raining hard and I want a waterproof shoe. They took about two weeks to break in, and that wasn't much fun, but they've been very comfortable since; the suggestion to size up is a good one. These boots offer good traction on ladders and steel plates - frequent hazards in my work environment. Their heel and ankle height are *just* inside the requirements at the shipyard, so keep that in mind if your employer has specifications beyond the steel toe cap. I've worn then out on dates, in museums, grocery shopping, machine shops, electronics labs, and throughout the boats in all stages of construction. I'm probably going to buy another pair to keep at home so I don't have to remember to bring them back to work!

These are the second pair of Xenas that I own, I also have the Omega EH. Like the Omegas, I don't have to switch out my safety shoes to attend a campus meeting where everyone else is in business casual clothing. I really appreciate that a single pair of shoes serves multiple purposes and look like I belong wherever I go -- steel toe during facility walkthroughs and business casual shoes in a meeting. I do find wearing some more padding in the toe (like a hiking sock) helps if I have to stand for long periods of time. I wear them to the mall and out to dinner and I love them so much, I'm now getting another pair in cognac!

I have been looking for a feminine shoe to wear to work since I've been promoted to supervisor and I no longer have to wear a uniform. Since the shoe catalogs provided by my employer is limited, I looked to the internet. I purchased the Gravity safety shoe in the Camel color. I have recieved so many compliments and love th fit of the shoe. I'm typically an 8.5 to size 9 in shoes so I purchased a 9.5. I'm looking forward to purchasing additional shoes from XenaWear. Super comfortable, looks great with everything! But I’m a little concerned, I bought mine 6/21/21 and as of 2/21/22 the toe of one is starting to come apart (pictures of both for comparison), and I’m an office worker so I’m not that hard on my shoes… Still I will be coming back for a second pair when these do eventually need replacing because they are SO comfortable.

I received my pair a couple of weeks ago - went for the full wardrobe and ordered Gravitys, Fusions & Novas so I could completely swap out all my current office shoes for the Xenas. Absolutely no regrets, I cannot get over how comfortable these all are - and are a MAJOR improvement on the shoes I had previously! I ordered a wide foot and ended up going a full size up on the shoes and 1.5 sizes up on the Novas (for big winter socks) . I do notice my pinky toe touching the steel cap ridge on the inside but have not found it an issue yet. NZ-made shoes seem to be huge by comparison , so any other Kiwis reading this , take note!!! (Doc Martens by comparison, sz US 8/EUR39, about an extra inch of room, sloppy fit, compared with Xena 8.5 , EUR39, snug fit, 5mm room. These shoes seem to be made out of much thicker material than the average shoe but this gives it a reinforced & sturdy feel) This was a day dream fantasy for me about 5 years ago to have NICE stylish steel caps rather than the clunky men's shoes we normally get for work.
