Working in both fields these shoes are amazing if you're on your feet all day running around the Production floor, running machines, testing sites, warehouse etc. I can go from whse to my office meetings, lead tours without the clunkiness. They have a very comfortable foot bed, a stylish look and are light weight. I think a pair of Xena boots will be in my future. Customer Svc was friendly & informative in handling my size exchange as well. Will definitely promote this business!

I love the look and style of the Gravity Safety Boots! They allow me to portray a professional, yet still feminine, appearance on the job sites while maintaining compliance of the safety codes within the industrial sector of government construction. As for fit, I was nervous, especially after reading all the reviews. I have a very wide foot. Half of a size up is all I needed. I did purchase a whole size larger first but it was too long. The Xena Team was great in offering advise. Many of the reviews also stated that the boots were uncomfortable. I will agree that there is not much cushion or arch and at first I could feel the end of steel toe mold rubbing against the side of my big toe. I purchased a 3/4 length gel insert and it really helped. It added cushion, arch support and even lifted my toe away from the steel tip. Since adding the insole they're perfect! When it comes to comfort, I think it depends on what you wear when you're not at work. When I'm not on a construction site, I'm in high heels; hence the reason I'm looking for a fashionable work boot. If someone usually wears comfy foam sneakers than they will most likely think these boots are uncomfortable. I personally find them comfortable enough to wear 10-12 hours a day either on a construction site or in the office.

Really wanted to like these shoes because I love the idea of them. They are not comfortable. I am a size 11 which I ordered, but was too small, so I sized up to a 12, which is too big. I’m not sure if I could wear these and be on my feet all day. I may try to find some insoles that fit. Also think that the images are misleading, they look a little clunkier upon arrival. Although I will say that customer service with this company is great. I had these shoes for a while and was very indecisive about them because I didn’t really like the way they looked or fit on my feet, I kept wanting to like them, also the price of investing in them was high for my usual Safety shoe purchase. I exchanged them for a larger size, different color with no issues. But I still can’t say that I am altogether happy with my purchase especially when they are so expensive. I am glad though to support the idea of this, stylish shoes for women in the workplace is essential. I don’t know how many times I have had to bust out a pair of oversized combat boots at work with a dress that just wouldn’t work in the same way as this style of shoe would.

Thank you - your shoes arrived swiftly to Australia in perfect condition and they are stylish and look just like their photographs. I’m usually a size 39 but post purchase was recommended to go up to the next size - I did - unfortunately this was not required and a straight 39 would have been perfect! Thick socks will do the trick - but it’s pretty hot in Australia! Other than that product highly recommended.

These are a great stylish shoe. I purchased the Omega boot and had a few people ask if these were Inga t steel toe shoes. I wanted a more stylish shoe for the upcoming warmer months, so I chose the bootie. I order a half size up as recommended and found that these stretch out. I was hesitant with my Omegas as I thought they were too small initially. But they have stretched out and are a good fit. Looking forward to newer fashionable women’s styles in the future for women in the manufacturing field!

I work primarily in an office but I go onto the factory floor and go to visit customer production lines which requires me to have safety shoes. These are very stylish and comfortable too! I will say I am used to wearing flats or other office shoes usually so I didn’t need additional padding. My measurements were for a 7.5 so I got the 8 and they fit great! I’ve had several ladies with my company ask about these and I can see more team members purchasing Xena safety shoes!

I am a FOH manager at a restaurant in DC... very fast pace and ALWAYS on my feet. I needed some shoes for work that would last a long time and look beautiful and professional! While these shoes are not exactly non slip, they are perfect for work! Very tight fit at first so take their suggestion of going up a half size. I was able to attach some restaurant approved non-slip bottoms to the shoes and now they are perfect! Xena, I hope you consider making new booties in the future with a better non slip bottom. Either way I love you guys and your product! I’m a forever customer!!

The shoes are okay, I expected a little more comfort for the price. The shoes look better than most steel toed shoes. They work as described. They aren't that comfortable, I had to buy a seperate insole to replace the ones that came with the shoes, this made them a little more comfortable. The steel toe in my left shoe is longer on one shoe than the other, so my left foot has a bruise where when I walk the hard piece pushes into the top of my foot, but the right shoe is just fine. All in all, I would probably just recommend getting redwing work shoes instead. I have cat, Xena and redwing work shoes and the redwing ones are the most comfortable for everyday use and are the same price if not less and much more comfortable without a hard piece pushing into the top of your foot whenever you walk. If you are willing to sacrifice money and comfortability for a little more style, then these are your shoes.

Love it, but you need to order a whole size up. I'm a size 6, ordered 6.5 and it was too small. I exchanged it for a 7, and its perfect. Toe box is wide enough to be comfortable. I love how I can wear it and not have to worry about changing it between the shop floor to the meeting rooms.

I am an operations manager for an aircraft manufacturer. I need a comfortable, stylish shoe that works for hours on a concrete floor but can also pair well with business attire for meetings and hosting visitors. This is my second pair of Xenas and they are amazing! I had to have the blackout version. :) I wear a size 7.5-8 in a boot and got 8.5 for my Xenas. I had to break in my first pair (worth it) but wore these immediately with no issues. I did add a work shoe gel insert for extra support and the fit is perfect. Most of my team wear Xenas and love them :) I highly recommend these!

I sized up the half size as stated to a 6.5. I received the shoes very quick which was really nice. I tried them on and wore them in the house for 2 days to break them in a little but the toe was a bit tight. I contacted customer service who was extremely helpful and helped me expedite my exchange quickly. When receiving the 7’s, I wore them about the house for 2 days and they felt good. When I wore them to work the first day I expected to have a little discomfort and noticed my foot was moving around in the shoe due to the size difference. I went and got a pair of insoles to help for the second day but they didn’t help much. I am currently looking into finding something to protect my toes while wearing them. Overall I love the shoes and the customer service, I just need to find a way to make them fit me better.

Absolutely stunning - stylish and best looking safety shoes I’ve ever owned. Took a while to break in though. The top rubbed and irritated the the ankles for a long time requiring some extra padding and bandages until the shoes were broken in. It took about three weeks to get them just right. Buy a size bigger as the foot tends to slide forward into the steel to part because of the heel and definitely invest in some memory foam shoe inserts if you tend to spend most of your day on your feet. Still a great choice - comfortable and stylish. Can go straight to dinner after work without changing my shoes.

I receive compliments every time I wear these shoes. I really do like them a lot. I have noticed that my foot gets a little numb sometimes,... I’m hoping after I wear them in a little more this will go away. ( I only need to wear my steel toed shoes for at most 45 a day). Normally I wear a size 10 1/2 normally and after receiving the email advising on ordering a half size up I replied back with updating to a size 11. Great style and function for women in manufacturing! With some cushioned insoles, I hope to put them into my regular daily rotation. I sized up a half size based on the note on the product detail, but I'm not sure I really needed to. If you have trouble with tight toe boxes in dress shoes, you might struggle with these. The toe box is a tad narrow for only my right foot, which is typical for me in most women's dress shoes. The foot bed isn't great and there's no cushioning under the ball of the foot. If you usually use an insole, you'll be able to insert one...in my opinion, you'll need it.

full endorsement! These are incredibly comfortable. After a week about the interior of the shoe is soft and molded to my feet. Even days I dont need full functionality of the steel toe I have been choosing these to wear. They look cute with my skinny jeans as well as cropped slacks. If these didn’t have the safety component they would be beautiful premium footwear on their own, absolutely worth the price. For sizing: I have wide feet and an extremely high instep…. so much so that I cannot wear any slip on style shoes or boots without a zipper. I was nervous about these since sizing recommendations are go to up a full size, that would have put me at a 9.5 which I assumed would be way to long. I went one size up and the fit is great. I have been wearing them without socks or with very thing liners (im in CA). If I needed to wear thicker socks in a wintery climate the 9.5 might have been necessary.

Great look amd style but the slip resistance is surely lacking. Tad too tight on my right foot toe area even though I ordered 1/2 s8ze bigger as recommended. But i can't use for work due to the slip hazard that is still present in wet areas. Lot of money for safety shoes that's one of the main functions needed and it doesn't pass that test.
