FAQ
Is the heel OSHA approved?
Interestingly neither OSHA nor ASTM have a ruling on heel height. The only regulatory body that has provided heel-height safety guidance is the Canadian CSA and we have purposefully designed our bootie heels to be CSA-height compliant.
What if my Safety Manager doesn’t want to approve me wearing these?
We ran into this back in 2019 when we launched Xena so we went so far as to publish a whitepaper detailing the double-standard in heel-height which is discriminatory toward women. You can find the white paper here and you are welcome to share it 😉.
Is a bootie still a safety shoe?
Yes - the Gravity has a steel toe certified to ASTM F2413, plus slip and water resistance.
Can I wear it off the clock?
Absolutely! The bootie silhouette is designed to look just as good with everyday outfits as on the job.
