I’ve walked around in Gravity boots for the past three days (around downtown Milwaukee, in the office, on the factory floor) and they are the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. The leather is so soft you don’t have to worry about blisters on your ankles. The toe box has plenty of room and doesn’t rub funny. I got the tan and can honestly wear them with any one of my work outfits. I have gotten so many compliments and all my coworkers can’t believe such a stylish, beautiful boot, is a steel toe! I measured my foot and matched it to the sizing chart and they fit perfect! Thank you Xena for putting so much time and effort into making such a beautiful, comfortable, perfect boot for women! I ordered these shoes a little less than a week ago for a couple of different reasons! I wanted a stylish pair of steel toes so I didn’t have to constantly change shoes at work, I wanted a shoe that wasn't big and clunky like all my other pairs and I wanted a shoe that I didn’t have to constantly keep tying (I swear my steel toes would always come untied!) I’m also having shoulder surgery so I won’t be able to actually tie a pair of work boots. That said I reached out to customer care team and asked if there was any way to get my shoes a little bit sooner so that I could have them when I go back to work only being able to use one arm. They were so quick to get back to me and told me they would make sure that would happen! I’m so incredible impressed with their customer team! I can’t wait to wear these around work and get all my other coworkers on board and see the new styles Xena comes up with as well!

Trendy and light! The leather is sturdy on the outside (don't worry about scuffs or scratches) and very soft on the inside! The heel height might seem intimidating to some, but it is truly the perfect, comfortable lift in practice. I wouldn't subtract a millimeter out of it. They offer free exchanges with great communication and luxury treatment towards patrons. So if you're still on the fence, just go for it! I love that they're eco-conscious and sustainable. This is the only shoe that offers style, sustainability, ASTM certification and honestly, so much more!

Great steel toe shoes and customer service! Honestly, I love my new shoes and the customer team is fantastic, but I wanted to give a fair warning to those women with slightly wider feet like myself. At first I was bummed by the fact that the shoes were rubbing my outer toes, and this was a consistent trend until I broke them in. Now they no longer rub, and my feet feel fine throughout the day. However, I need to make sure I wear thin socks with the shoes, or socks without toe seams (otherwise the shoes will still rub). I reached out to Xena about my issue and they immediately offered to send me different insoles if I thought that would help, since it would decrease the space used inside the shoe. I did not end up needing them. Xena has also been keeping me up to date with a wide shoe version that they are making. Once these come out I think any concerns I have with the shoe would be resolved, and my rating would change to 5 stars. Let's not forget how great these shoes look! So much so that I often get stopped at work by people asking if I'm actually wearing steel toes. I have scuffed them a bit, despite my best efforts, but that comes from working in manufacturing. They did arrive pristine out of the box, and appear to be very well made. I'm so happy that I finally have steel toes that make me feel like I belong in the conference rooms as much as I belong on the manufacturing floor. If you're thinking about getting these shoes, I'd say go for it!

Amazing look and customer service, just check the fit I LOVE the look of these boots. My issue is with the seam immediately under the steel toe cap edge that rubs my right foot's middle to pinky toes. The Xena team has worked with me to resolve this and it has been significantly reduced by removing the insole. Going up a half size is not a solution because removing the insole means my feet are slipping inside the boot already. It is simply having the lining seam and toe cap edge creating a pressure point in the right boot that is not yet resolved. Looking forward to next gen and being able to dance, or at least walk, in these boots without limping for the next two days. Again, the customer team has been outstanding and I'm certain we will find a final and full solution.

Comfortable and light-weight! Wow!!! These shoes are extremely comfortable and weigh a whole lot less than comparable steel toe boots. They fit and feel like regular wedges and I can wear them all-day without experiencing fatigue. They also pair well with most of my outfits. Highly recommend!

Love them, but give time to break-in! I got my steel toes shipped yesterday and am excited to wear them! Fair warning that I ordered my normal size and they do run a little tight, but I think they should break in okay (I wear a 5.5 - 6.5 depending on the shoe, ordered a 6). I have been asked twice today out on the production floor if I'm wearing my PPE - and am finally excited to say that I am! The blue card included with the shoes that states the ASTM certification is super handy for these situations. I love that I don't feel like I'm wearing men's shoes all day anymore!

Best of both worlds! I just received my shoes and I really love them! In a management role at an airline, I need steel toe shoes during my operational walk-throughs. Much of my time is also spent in work settings (meetings, etc.) where having my footwear match my professional attire is highly desirable. These shoes provide the best of both worlds. As soon as I opened the box, I could smell the high quality leather material. They are exactly as I hoped they would be, and I am so glad to have them! One item to note: I am generally a size 9 or 9.5 in shoes, depending on the style. I ordered a 9.5 in these, expecting that I could wear thicker socks. These fit more snugly than a normal 9.5 for me, so I advise that if you in between sizes that you err on the larger size.

I was a science major in undergrad so it’s amazing to see a female engineer designing these safety shoes to encourage women that they can pursue STEM fields and be fashionistas at the same time. We can have beauty and brains. I’ve been working in manufacturing for the last six months and I work in Human Resources. I did not think such a safety shoe existed and I was reluctant to buy one. I walk the floors regularly and needed one that could my professional office attire. In fact we joked at work that we wanted steel toes with a heel...and here they are in all their glory. Great quality and style in a safety shoe! I’ve worked in sales of high end shoes and as a quality engineer and the Xena Gravity SD combines the best of both worlds! I normally wear between 8.5M-9M, and 9M in this style worked best for me. I like the Xena Gravity SD because I work with electronics and having to put on and adjust heel straps can be annoying. The quality of the shoe design is fantastic from the Cognac leather to the wider toe box to the padded ankle edges to the YKK branded zipper — the details matter and Ana got them right. I’ve gotten many compliments and have been met with shock when I step onto factory floors with slim, fashionable boots that are actually safety shoes! I travel regularly and having a nice looking, lightweight safety shoe is important to me. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add more padding at the ball of the foot, but I recognize doing this without making it bulky may be a challenge. Overall, these shoes are living up to their reputation so far, and I will likely be purchasing a black pair in the future! Thanks Ana, for the excellent customer support and product!

Facts - my hiring manager said that these shoes made me look like I stepped off of an Italian runway! I am the enterprise-wide Industrial Hygienist supporting 7,000+ workers. I've put in up to 6 miles a day in our facilities - dusty locations, Class I Div 1 locations, major research laboratories, active product manufacturing, pilot plants, and construction sites. I can even be caught at some of our vineyards and wineries out West. I have been wearing 'boots' for a few years at U.S. Dept. of Energy sites and foundries. I ordered these a month ago because I became tired of changing shoes going back and forth between sites. After a month of use: These boots are gorgeous, I've had people stop and ask if I need toe covers, I simply pull of the Xena card and provide proof they are certified (or I knock on the toe)... As someone else relayed in the comments, extra cushion is needed for the ball of the feet for comfort. This sacrifice I am willing to make, because I know they will get better. FYI I have narrow, flat feet and wear an 8.5 - unfortunately, the 1/2 size larger statement was not there when I ordered a month ago, but I would recommend that as well. Gorgeous and functional! The Gravity SD in Cognac are the best looking steel toes I've encountered in 15 years of manufacturing work! On top of looks, they're comfortable and meet the standards required for the environment I frequently find myself in throughout the day, sometimes at random, making it difficult to constantly be changing shoes. Great for whatever the day throws at you! I am an architect, and my days on site typically consist of meetings with clients as well as construction site walkthroughs. Highly recommended! I work in environmental engineering and often need to visit customer facilities or project sites where safety shoes are required. These shoes allow me to go from a client meeting or presentation to a site walk though without needing to change footwear or worry that my shoes are not appropriate, either in looks or functionality, for one setting or the other. Not only that, but they are also cute enough to keep on wearing out after work. No one would even know they are safety shoes - they’re just great looking boots! It’s hard to believe that dressy steel toed boots for women have not been available on the market - thank you to Xena for filling this gap that so many of us women have struggled with in our professional wardrobes! An easy favorite! I am so excited to have found Xena Workwear! I have the Gravity SD boots in black and I love the style. I regularly wear these regardless of whether I am in a plant/manufacturing facility, in the office, or out on the town. As a female in technical sales/engineering, I am all too familiar with the dilemma of visiting a customer site and either having to dress down or having to change footwear. With past safety footwear, I had gravitated toward brands like Keen that offer asymmetrical toe boxes and were more comfortable to wear for extended workdays or large facility walk-throughs but was disappointed in the limited style options. The Gravity SD bootie is wide enough for comfortable wear in similar scenarios with the appeal of a casual shoe. The soles have enough traction without being bulky, yet thicker than similar fashion shoes so I am not concerned about wearing them through. I sized up by half-size for this style than what I typically wear. There was no need to "break-in" the shoe, which was comfortable on first wear and does not rub at the ankle. I love sharing more about Xena's compelling story whenever I receive compliments on my booties! Like how many women feel about a dress with pockets (!), it's fun to brag these cute shoes are actually safety shoes, too! I look forward to seeing what comes next.
