I have been looking for fashionable women's safety shoes for a long time! A long time! I stumbled across Xena and was blown away by the style and safety type selections! When we became required for ESD safety shoes I knew I was finally going to get a pair of Xenas. My company ordered them, and they came in within a couple of days! I normally wear an 8 in normal shoes, so I went a half size up as advised. In reality I should've gotten a 8.5W or a 9 because the steel toe is a bit narrow for my toes. I've had some time breaking them in and finding padded socks to help with the toes, so they are becoming much more comfortable! But I also want to give a shout out to Dima in who answers the customer service line! I had a slight issue with the sole of one of the heels coming apart from the wood, like it hadn't been glued. Dima was so great in helping me find a solution! He requested I send over my shoes to their cobbler using the provided labels and he would get them done right away! And he did! The shoes came back good as new! Xena's customer service was great to work with! I will definitely be using the cobbler with the shoes to keep them for as long as I can! Only request I have for Xena; Can you make padded cotton socks to go with the boots? Because I would jump on that train real quick! Thank to Xena for creating a line for women in STEM/STEAM so they can feel like women!

These are hands down the nicest shoes I own! I have been really happy with how nice they work with my office wear. They're very comfy and lightweight, even with the steel toe... not at all like the big old clunky work boots I had been using for site visits. I'm between a size 7.5 - 8 and went with the 8 since reviews & sizing charts said to size up. They fit really well, and I'm glad I didn't go another size larger. They did take some breaking in for flexibility at the ankle.

Love my new Xena's! I am in upper management at a chemical plant and they really help me to feel tied together, while still allowing me to wear a shoe I can wear into the plant. They took a little getting used to with the toe box feeling a little tight at wider part of my foot, but after a few days of wear they're much better!

I waited to write my review until I really got to put the shoes through the full spectrum of my work. They do require a bit of a breaking in period and if you are a half size like me an 8 1/2 get a 9 for the comfort they will feel perfect. Even though they are leather, the shoes don't feel heavy or sweaty. However, I have narrow feet so even the standard feels roomy enough for thick socks when I need them since I work in a cold environment at times. I feel super stable on ladders and the heel is never an issue in any way. I have been able to walk across wet floors that are chemically treated without damage to the shoes or falling to get to our Distribution area. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them in and out of the office. They have become one my favorite pair of shoes and I forget they are steal toe they are so comfortable now. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to protect their feet while looking professional in an Office/Factory Environment.

Love these shoes! I get lots of compliments from the woman I work with and they all ask me where I was able to find such cute steel toes. I do, however, get lots of questions like “where are your steel toes” when I’m out on the floor. People are always shocked when they find out. Breaking them in at first is a little tough on the toes, so have some band-aids handy for the first week or two wearing them. Sizing wasn’t too bad! I’m usually a 6 1/2 or 7. With these shoes, I went for the 7 and it was perfect.

Gave these boots 3 stars because they are not cut out for a busy and fast pace restaurant. I love how they look and feel, but unfortunately they are not slip resistant. I wore the for the first time last night at work. I’m a manager and I run back and forth from the FOH to the HOH. Well, they slowed me down tremendously last night. I slipped so many times and a few I almost fell. It’s very upsetting. I was so excited to finally find shoes that were super cute to wear with nice clothes and now it’s back to wearing slip resistant gym shoes with a polo while I go back to the drawing board. Hopefully I can find someone to buy them off of me so I can recoup most of my money.

They did take about a week to get used to, I am unused to heeled shoes as most my time is spent testing out in a factory. To add just this bit of feminine feeling to my wardrobe has been amazing! Let me start by saying I love these boots. I work selling heavy, raw materials (hardwood, steel stock, 50lb bags of dry material), and often operate a pallet jack. Needless to say, I'm definitely always trying to protect my toes, but looking professional while performing the retail aspect of my job is important to me, too. I'm only rating 4/5 stars because I found them to have insufficient arch support for my feet. I've never had an issue like this with a boot before, and it was pretty noticeable while not disruptive. In the end, I spent money buying some arch support inserts, and now they truly are the perfect pair of boots for me.

I love my Xena boots. Took just over a week to break them in, today is two weeks wearing them. If I could make a suggestion - SOCKS!! I'm having a difficult time finding the right socks for these boots. I still feel the toe seams a bit wearing these boots. And I love a super low cut sock, but the heel drops down below my foot in these boots.

I was so excited about these until I put them on. They look so cute. I wore them for three separate ten hour shifts, and I have NEVER been in more pain from footwear in my life, and I’ve been in the service industry for fifteen years. My feet hurt so badly that each step sent shooting pains up my legs. My lower back hurt so badly. I haven’t worn these shoes for two days, and my feet are still sore. I absolutely WOULD NOT recommend these shoes. They’re by far the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn.

I went with 4 stars versus 5 because the right shoe is just slightly different than the left. I don’t think it’s my feet. That said I was easily able to resolve with a different sock on that foot. They did advise wearing around house first to ensure right size which I should have done but I was too excited!

These boots are super cute and it does take about 3-4 days to break in but they're not meant for more than 8 hours on your feet, I don't think. My toes started to feel scrunched from walking the dining room floor and they're quite heavy from the steel toe so it felt like carrying weights around my ankles. I still like them and will use them on occasion but they won't be my everyday work shoes.

I really, really want to love these shoes. I LOVE the look of them, allowing me to look more business professional while working in a warehouse. But, after wearing them for a few months, I’ve decided I just can’t anymore. I read the reviews before purchasing and ordered a half size up and a wide size. Even with that in mind, I’d use bandaids and or double socks on each foot to make it bearable to wear for an entire day (10 hours). At this point, I’m experiencing foot and knee pain in direct relation to how I have to walk wearing these shoes, so I’ll have to stop. I’m considering trying the Omega EH Safety Boots instead, since they don’t have a heel, but am apprehensive. They are very durable and stylish, and have a very strong steel toe.
