Confidence with every step.
Slip-resistant outsoles are the difference between a close call and a fall on wet, oily, or greasy floors. Every Xena style here is built on a women’s last with a slip-resistant (SR) or oil-resistant (SRO) outsole. All ASTM F2413-certified, whether you’re in a restaurant, hospital, warehouse, or manufacturing facility.
Stay on your feet.
Slip-resistant outsoles for wet, oily, and greasy floors, on a women’s last. The SRO trio grips the slickest surfaces.

SR vs. SRO: how much grip do you need?
SR (slip-resistant) outsoles are tested on wet and dry surfaces; SRO adds oil resistance for the greasy, oily floors of kitchens and shops. SR-rated shoes might work for you but to be safe, we’d recommend you pick SRO when the floor is genuinely slick.
Built for a woman’s foot
A women’s-last fit keeps the shoe stable so your foot isn’t sliding inside it — traction only helps if the shoe itself holds your heel.
Where slip resistance matters most
Restaurants, kitchens, healthcare, and manufacturing all run on slick floors. The oil-resistant SRO Astra, Astra Lite, Rogue, and Luna lead here. We get ladies asking about our higher-heeled (SR-rated) styles for hospitality settings and while they do work for some ladies, we generally defer to our SRO-rated styles for maximum stability.
FAQ
What does slip-resistant (SR) mean?
The outsole is tested and rated to resist slipping on wet and dry surfaces.
What's the difference between SR and SRO?
SRO adds oil resistance for greasy and oily floors (kitchens, shops); SR covers wet and dry conditions.
Which Xena styles are most slip-resistant?
The oil-resistant SRO Astra, Astra Lite, Rogue, and Luna offer our highest traction.
Are these good for restaurant work?
Yes - the SRO-rated styles are built for slick kitchen and restaurant floors.
How can I be sure that Xena non-slip shoes will work for me?
Honestly, there’s no 100% way to know. In an oily setting we always recommend our SRO-rated shoes though some ladies have found luck with our SR-rated styles. Different floor contaminants and floor types will produce unique results. We always recommend to bring a spare pair of shoes for your first shift when breaking in your Xenas (just in case).
