These boots are a joy to wear. They are so much lighter than my other work boots, and they look so good, it's hard to believe they are work boots. I normally wear 11W, which is hard to find in women's. I sized up 1/2 and 1/2 for the wide width (as advised for the Omega EH) and the 12 fit perfectly. I do IT work, typically in the office, but frequently have to work in our plants. These boots make the transition seamless.

They are stylish enough to play well with business attire, but give you that added layer of safety when you are working in a lab where there is heavy duty equipment and machinery. I have worked in automotive, industrial, and construction environments for the majority of my career (20+ years and counting). I was beyond stoked to see what Xena had to offer, because as we are all aware, the offerings are slim when it comes to womens work boots that are both practical for the shop and appropriate for a professional environment. Overall, I am pleased with the product. Unfortunately, the size 12 runs a bit small, (as is clearly indicated in the literature, so no quibble there) but is also the largest size available. I was really hoping to have a women's steel toe, zippered work boot, built off a womens' sizing last (it is narrower, among other things), that would be long enough, and while 43.5 instead of 44 can be dealt with for an occasional night out, for daily work boots it is excruciating. I cannot exchange them for a larger size, because there isn't one. Quality-wise, I was fairly impressed with boot construction overall, although I would expect that level of footwear construction to be about $70 cheaper. I cannot complain, however, because this product fills a niche demand, and as of yet has no real competition and has not had the opportunity to scale, yet. The only build quality issue I encountered was that the pull strap on the back of the right side boot came loose upon my second time pulling them on. I did wear them inside and outside the first day. All things considered, I do think Xena is on the right track, and look forward to a time when they choose to offer extended sizes. I have not pursued any sort of refund or return, because I do think the boots are good boots overall, and will be searching for someone to pass them to for whom they will be an appropriate fit.

I’ve had my Xena boots for about a year now and I really like them, they’re very comfortable and have held up nicely, but the one thing that I don’t like and drives me insane is the location of the zipper on them, they are on the outside sides of the boot. It would be a much better design with a much easier on/off access if the zippers were on the inside side of the boots.

I work in one of our busiest kitchens as a manager. I'm constantly going between the front of house to back of house and I hated my nonslips, until I bought my Xena's. Not only are they stylish, comfortable and slip resistant, they protect my toes! When my co-workers tell me my shoes aren't in compliance I love showing them how wrong they are. Absolutely love. I wear a 7.5 and bought a size 8 and they fit perfectly.

First of all I love the options Xena provides for working women! These shoes are gorgeous and seem very well made. There is a decent break in period, but even after several weeks I wish the shoes had more padding in the heels and toe area. Both the sole and back of the heel seem hard for a shoe you'll be wearing all day. For me, the fit is too snug for adding additional padding/insoles even with getting a half size up.

I love these!! They’re holding up very well to being on my feet 12+ hours a day, and I’m not sliding when I walk through the kitchen. A very solid steel toe that was tested by little siblings jumping on them to see if they could squish my toes. I also love the fact I can wear these to work, outside, on the motorcycle, or going out. These boots are gorgeous and so comfortable! I've worked mainly in heavy manufacturing and have typically been limited to ugly man boots or the industry's attempt at a female safety shoe, most often featuring hot pink stitching. I'm so excited my new Xenas are attractive and professional. Customer service was extremely helpful with sizing - I'm typically a 9.5-10 and based on the suggestions to go up a half size, ordered the 10. However, with the steel toe cap it was just slightly too narrow for the widest part of my foot. Customer service answered my phone call almost immediately and helped me decide if I should go for a 10.5 regular or pre-order the 10W. The 10.5 regular is a perfect fit.

I’ve been a cameraman/Broadcast Technician for 14 years in News Broadcast, Corporate A/V, Live Events & Sports. I bought the blackout Gravity shoe because my “dress blacks” shoes needed to be replaced. I figured I try them out, hoping they’d last longer than my cheaper versions....and I wouldn’t have to swap to my Vans during Load-Ins and Load-Outs. I bought a pair of the bourbon Omega EH because I just needed a casual brown boot.....the Steel-toe was just an added bonus. I’ve had them since May 2020, and I’m about to buy the Omegas in black! Loved the design/construction of the shoe and the toebox fit well on my narrow foot after I went a full size up, but the volume of the boot was too large at that point and I felt like my foot wasn't well retained in the vertical direction even with the suggested stick-on heel grips. Additionally, even with my own thicker insoles, I didn't feel like I would be comfortable standing all day in these boots. I may try another boot style in the future with thicker socks, but am returning these for now. Love the idea and fully support the mission of this company, keep it up!

I ordered a size up as recommended and that was good as they fit well size wise. If you’re going to be getting a step count in and working in an industry where you actually need steel toe boots look somewhere else. These won’t last 3 months. Overpriced for underwhelming quality

Might I say that it is refreshing to see safety-toe footwear that doesn’t necessarily look like safety-toe boots. I bought the Omega EH Safety Boot (brown) and I originally bought a 10.5 and after wearing them for a while, I had to size up to an 11. In most shoe brands, I am a 10.5, so I do think that they run a bit small. Additionally, I have wide feet (and bunions), and since these don’t allow any room for breaking in at the toes (bc they’re safety-toed), I do wish that Xena offered wide sizes for their sizes 10.5+. I was told that they currently lack some manufacturing capabilities to accommodate this, and I understand but I cannot give a full 5-star review. Also, I bought insoles for these, as I wouldn’t say that they are well-cushioned out of the box. I would hope to see better insoles from the factory at the price you pay. I do weigh 170 lbs, so I’m not a petite woman, and that definitely plays into it. As an additional note, I personally experienced the lack of consistency that they have with their brown color. My first pair definitely was a pale, yellow brown and my second pair is a more rich, red brown. Both colors are good, but I would definitely say that my size 11’s more closely match what is pictured in their website, so perhaps they are able to provide that color on a more consistent basis. All in all, good boot but comfort-wise, I cannot say it is perfect for me due to the sizing limitations and lack of cushion.
