I like these boots. They’re comfortable and look good while being exactly what I need. There’s one thing I really wish was changed and that’s where the zipper is. This is the only pair of boots I own where the zipper is on the outside and not the inside. I forget every day so it’s a tad frustrating but it’s mostly just awkward to unzip. It could easily be different for others but that was my only complaint.

Great boot and comfortable to wear all day. My only problem with them is I ordered a wide, and the steel toe insert isn’t quite wide enough for all my toes to fit comfortably in the boot. Even so, I’d still prefer them over my ariats.

I really wanted to love these boots, and while they are durable and professional, they aren't non-slip. Every time I walk into our BOH I slip and yesterday I fell while carrying plates and bruised my leg and hand. Unfortunately these won't work for my needs.

I have had these shoes for a few weeks now. I personally found them to be pretty comfortable. The padding inside on the sole and around the ankle were both adequate enough for the amount of standing and walking that I do in the studio, which is a LOT. I did have to break them in on the top just above the toes a little bit before they were really comfortable to walk in. I took the advice of others and ordered a half size larger, and it was spot on for me. I did find that they scuff up some what easily, but I haven't had any other problems with them. I like knowing I have the added protection of the steel toes, which is so important when working in a metalsmithing studio. And they are stylish enough that I can wear them out and about as well.

I really liked these boots to begin with. It's so hard to find nice looking women's steel toed boots. I ordered half a size up and they fit great! I work as an engineer for a mechanical, plumbing, and electrical contractor so it was great to find boots that looked nice in the office but would also be suitable for wearing in our shop or on job sites. These boots are cute and comfortable. I've worn them to work every day they've held up for the most part. However, I've had them for less than a year and the zipper broke already!

I really wanted to love these boots since the girls at work told me they were great. Unfortunately for me I couldn’t wear for more than 2 days to break them in. They were just too uncomfortable. By the end of the 2nd day of wearing them I just had to give up. I was very sad I couldn’t enjoy them like my coworkers. They’ve sat in the back of my closet for months.

The Omega boot is nicely constructed. My only reason for 4 stars is they are too short in height. I have very tall arches, and the boots do not have enough height in them for me. My feet start to hurt from the pressure on the top of my foot after only a couple of hours, and I have to wear them unzipped the rest of the day. I've tried to stretch them, by stuffing, but it has not helped. I have this issue with other shoes, so it is not unique to the Omega boot. Otherwise, the boot fits fine, and I like them.

I've only had the shoes for about a month and they already look like they've taken a lot of wear/abuse even though they have just been worn walking around ships/shop floor. The leather is not as robust as I expected and every little ding and scratch shows up. I am engineer so I am not doing heavy trades work and wanted a pair of shoes that could transition from the office to the floor and while they look great they just aren't as good as I was hoping for.

I should probably start by telling you that I'm a researcher. Am I in the field like most of you incredible women daily? No, BUT my family and I just moved to Seattle this past fall and I needed comfortable shoes that would allow me to walk miles on end in weather around Seattle. Xena delivered. I have worn these boots every day since I got them a month ago, and I must say - I actually look forward to putting them on. If I could give these boots 10 stars, I would. They are worth the cost, and will no doubt stand the test of time, as they are so well made. Thank you, Xena, for making a boot that is both practical and cute. You are proof that not all heroes wear capes. :)

I am an engineer who works at a manufacturing facility. I spend many hours on my feet and get a minimum 7k steps at work each day. I wear these boots 2-3x/week, and I've had them for 6 months. Pros: -These boots are very comfortable. As other reviewers have said, I've never gotten blisters from these boots, and I can do a 16 hour day comfortably. -They are very cute and can easily be worn outside of work. Cons: -I'll preface this by saying I might be rough on my shoes, but these are boots to wear to work. They have scuffed very easily, and they are all very visible on the light brown color. I've used the recommended boot polish (Urad leather creme) which has not aided or resolved the issue. -This is my second pair of Xenas with zippers, and both times one of the zipper tabs has broken. While these are comfortable and looked great when I received them, given how these have held up for 6 months (aesthetically - structurally these are okay with the exception of the broken zipper tab) for the price, I would not repurchase. In my opinion, these would be suitable for working in a lab environment or occasional field work.

I’ve worn these boots for a week now and putting them on at first was so great. They’re so comfortable on the inside and just make me feel great while wearing them. I work in live production so wearing boots is a full time thing but also switching in and out of steel toe boots to dress shoes can be a hassle especially doing installs and strikes, so having a boot that’s dress formal but also for work is great. Only downside is the zipper plop off somewhere on one of the boot so I couldn’t zip it down but at least it has its elastic to stretch out. I can’t want to but another boot!

These are beautiful boots to wear inside the office, but they are not made for long days in a construction field. I would say they’d be okay for a short site visit but nothing longer than 30 minutes/hour tops. I have a wide and it’s still too narrow and rubs my toes. You can also feel the toe protection plate rub the top of your feet. Everyone said I just needed to break them in, well I’ve had these for several years (four I think) and still experience those problems.

I absolutely love my work boots. In 25 years of wearing work boots, I have never had a pair fit before! It is amazing to wear steel-toed footwear that fits and looks great! The only reason for four stars instead of 5 is that in Canada, job sites often require a CSA certification emblem on our protective equipment. So I can't wear these on all job sites.

I wanted you to know I love the boots. I needed to go up half a size (probably the steel toes) but ordered 2 pairs and they are wonderful and stylish. I had a very bad accident a few years ago and badly broke my ankle and leg - finding comfortable shoes is always a challenge but finding reinforced boots that I can wear comfortably seemed a very difficult challenge. Too heavy and it hurts, too tight and it hurts, too stiff and it hurts. I am happy to report that these boots are comfortable and doing the job. Many thanks. I wanted to love these shoes, but they just don't work for me. After a month of wearing them, they hurt my feet just as much as the first day. I did the recommend 1/2 size up, but the steel toe was so narrow that it squished my toes, so I exchanged them for a wide. The wide gave me some room for my toes, but not enough. The steel still rubs my toes occasionally. I can't do a size bigger because the shoes already flop on my feet. I wish I had bought shoes with laces so i didn't have this issue. The shoes flopping on my feet causes extra friction, and makes my feet burn. By the end of the day, the balls of my feet are hurting so much. I have even bought different shoe inserts, but that didn't help at all. These shoes cause me so much pain, and it's not worth the price. Also, the zippers constantly unzip, which causes the shoes to flop more. And I've had them for so long now that i don't think I can exchange them. I am also out of the country, working on a cruise ship, so I cant exchange them anyways without filling out customs forms. Long story short: these shoes fit weird, cause me pain, and are not worth the high price.

When I would first wear this shoe, normally the skin/leather would be too hard on my ankles and they would start hurting. But once the shoe gets used to my foot the shoe becomes easy to wear. The shoe is so fashionable that my boss had stepped on my shoe to confirm that it was a steel toe. It is great because even though it is fashionable, if something heavy is dropped on my foot, I don't feel a thing. ( Even though it sometimes damages the leather.)
