I have worn the same old steel toe boots for over two years now because it’s so difficult to find appropriate safety shoes that don’t look bad with my dress pants. I came across Xena while searching online. I purchased the Omega Safety boot in black! They really are beautiful as well as comfortable! Most people don’t believe me that they’re steel toe and I have to let them pinch it to prove it! The leather does not seem to be creasing so far and it is holding up good. Hoping to try other shoes as well.

Fit like a glove out of the box. I ordered my usual size, and there was not much break in period. These boots work for me even on 12 hour shifts walking on concrete floors, and the best part is they can be worn after work! I've had these boots for almost a year now. They are great! Love the color (Bourbon Brown) and especially the style. They have held up great, just normal wear and tear. I am primarily an office worker, as I provide the risk management and insurance for construction clients, and recently planned to visit a client's job site. I needed to purchase appropriately safe boots and saw Xena advertised on the NAWIC website. I purchased them on a whim, happy to support a woman-owned and woman-focused enterprise. Women are underrepresented in the construction industry and especially in the gear needed to outfit them. I love my Xena boots. They were comfortable from the first time I put them on and keep getting more comfortable. I ordered a half size up as was recommended. My only issue so far has been putting them on the first few times. It was a bit difficult getting my heel in the boot, but they have loosened up with wear. I was initially concerned purchasing a pair without trying them on, since I have wide feet, but I actually wear these boots even when I'm not on a jobsite! They are well made and fashion forward. I highly recommend them.

I have a love/hate relationship with this shoe. I love the brand and the look of the shoe. However, these shoes hurt so bad. I normally wear a size 7.5-8 and I have a very narrow foot. I've tried 3 sizes: the 7.5, 8, and the 8.5. The size 7.5's were way too small. The 8 fit okay except my toes were still a little squished. After a long day of constantly being on my feet in the size 8's, my feet were swollen and in so much pain I could barely walk normally. The size 8.5 was entirely too big, my foot was sliding in the shoe and they looked huge on me. I knew the wides weren't going to work for me because of how narrow my feet are. I love the brand and the movement behind the company so much, I still referred this shoe to my fellow female friends in STEM. But, they had to return as well since the shoe was so uncomfortable. It's really a shame because they are the cutest steel toes I've found. If I spent most of my day in my office, these shoes would be great. But, if you have to go into a plant and do actual physical labor (not just walking around) for hours at a time on the floor some days, this isn't the shoe. My Timberland Pros are entirely more comfortable and functional and have lasted me 4 years and counting. However, I am keeping the size 8 Xenas to wear to job interviews/plant tours so I can look more professional.

Wow! I love these boots! I generally walk about 5 miles a day through our production facility and was really worried about sacrificing comfort for style. The first day was a little rough as the boots where breaking in but it's amazing how great they feel now. I was really glad I saw the recommendations to size up. I am a size 8.5 in most footware but the 9s fit me perfectly. All the girls at work have noticed these boots and are super excited to receive the $20 bonus referral link! The 1 part that's no feeling right is on my toes the to end toes both the left and right side feels like if there rubbing to much and like I need something to keep my toes form feeling like there just rubbing all day.

I will say I messed up the first day and wore ankle socks .. not a good idea with boots lol.. my ankle was cut from I guess one of the seams in the back of the shoe. Don’t make the same mistake as me … wear crew socks. Didn’t have to break them in at all they were comfy from the start.

So far, I really love these shoes! I'm a pretty consistent 6, very occasionally a 5.5, so I took a risk and ordered the 6 instead of sizing up. I'm so glad I did - with an added comfort insole, the 6 fits perfectly (they were a little loose without the insole). Only time will tell how comfortable they get as they breaknin, but I'm glad to have shoes that aren't bulky and look attractive.

I am so happy with these shoes. After the initial break in period (2ish days), they really fit nicely on my feet. I wear them daily for several hours and my feet never hurt. I feel very protected as well. The steel toes are effective and I have stepped on more than a few nails and tacks and none have made it through the sole. I can't wait to test out the cobbler in a few months when the current project is done!

I really love these boots! They're perfect for me since I am not on job sites full time much anymore so these are a great option for days I know I need to stop out but I'll primarily be in the office. This way I can still look nice in the office, but meet the requirements for being on the job site without having to change shoes! I will say the toe box seems small and my toes are killing me by the end of the day, so next time I may go up a halfsize to hopefully correct this issue! I still definitely recommend these boots!
