I've been wearing these daily on the job for about 8 months now. They've held up nicely. It took about 2 weeks to comfortably break them in. Normally I wear an 8 wide so I purchased a 8.5 wide based on the company recommendation. They fit perfectly. Love the convenience of the zipper and no laces. I'm considering sending them in to the cobbler for conditioning since the leather is looking dull and a little scuffed. Overall excellent quality boots. I would definitely buy again.

I pretty much exclusively buy my safety shoes from Xena now. They are comfy, fashionable, and quite resilient. The half-size up recommendation is good advice, I normally wear a 9 and ordered a 9.5 which fit perfectly. The gray color of the Omegas I bought is beautiful, I have another pair in brown but the gray ones are so unique!

The vegan leather grey is my favorite color. I ordered my first pair back in July 2020 and wore them daily until one of the zipper pulls broke in early 2023. I ordered a new pair in March 2023 and was pleased to see a new style of zipper that seems like it’ll hold up even longer. Great continual improvement action!

I purchased these shoes in Dec of 2020. Most expensive pair of work boots. While they are beautiful, sturdy, and seemingly durable, I found them to be extremely uncomfortable. I purchased the brown steel toe model, even went up a size and wide given the previous reviews. Though I have plenty of room in the shoes' toe box, and they are a bit on the "long" side, I just haven't been able to break them in. The toe box hurts my toes, and the steel toe portion seems to dig into the sides of my feet. At first try on, it seemed like they would be comfortable once I broke them in, so I kept them. Unfortunately, once used in the field, I found them to be extremely uncomfortable. Since I was past the "return" window, and I am often only on the field for 2-3 hours, I decided I could deal with the discomfort. It's been 3 years, and though I am not in the field on a daily basis, I have not had a pleasant experience with them on. I am finally giving up trying to make them work by using thicker socks, padding, inserts, etc, etc. Another thing I will say is that it describes the shoe to be "lightweight"; however, I did not find that to be the case, at least with my steel toe model. Hope this helps somebody avoid paying $200 for painful shoes that can't be returned once worn in the actual environment they were made for.

These shoes are pretty nice! Literally felt comfortable within 1 minute of wearing them. However, after wearing them for a few weeks I have a few minor notes. The steel toe can hurt a bit since it has no wiggle room (obviously) but it definitely presses on the sides of my toes a bit. A bit of padding might help that. But the thing I noticed most is the zipper placement. Being on the outside with the bulky pull tabs means if you sit with your foot resting on your other leg, the zipper is uncomfortable as it presses into the side of your ankle. A pair of shoes that I had previously had zippers on the inside of the pair (opposite where they are currently) and it was quite nice! Overall it’s really great though, being stylish and safe is wonderful. I hope these shoes last me a long time, fingers crossed!

I’ve contemplated buying these shoes since March. I’m a thrift shopper, and never ever spend this much money on shoes. However, working twelve years in a restaurant, I have all sort of feet and back problems and am always looking for a shoe or insert that’s going to help with my sciatic pain. Finally, after working a long hard summer and having horrible back pain flare ups, and after reading literally months worths of reviews, I decided to buy myself these $200 shoes. Any shift I wear them… I don’t experience any back pain. So for that, I gave it three stars. However, the “slip resistant soles” are just not accurate. I cannot wear these to work any more because I almost face plant EVERY shift I wear them. I have to waddle around the restaurant clinging to the walls any time I head into the kitchen or behind the bar. It isn’t safe. Because of this, I’m really disappointed. I read quite a few reviews, before I purchased them, of other women who worked in restaurants so I’m a little confused how they weren’t experiencing something similar. So sad to say, I have a super expensive shoe I cannot even wear. I guess I can continue to wear it outside of work as a fashion shoe, but it just defeats the purpose of why I got them to begin with. If you work in a restaurant I DO NOT recommend. These are not slip resistant. Maybe for other fields they do their part, but they are not for all working women.

These Xena Workwear steel toe boots are absolutely gorgeous! Do you know much about what I do for work? I work in environmental compliance, mostly remotely now due to my husband being military. While I work on the corporate side, I have visited a few of our oil and gas sites to take inventory and assist with monitoring for agency reporting. You must come wearing your own steel toe shoes or you won’t be able to walk around the plant. The hard hat, safety goggles, hearing protection, etc can be provided by the station. But if you’re like me and love boots (and yes I am happy that I get to wear boots again where we live now) and have to have safety shoes for work - you must check out these Xenas! I got the Omega EH Safety Boot in color Vegan Grey.

I loved these boots at first but they have not held up unfortunately. I’m a project manager so they weren’t getting rough field wear and tear, I sit at a desk 95% of the time. The side zipper broke, the seam on the back heals came apart and the leather is extremely worn. Really wanted to love these, going back to men’s boots.

I do love the fact that they are short boot. I will say that they took forever to break in. And it was super painful. Unfortunately I’m in HR for a manufacturing company on 53 acres with multiple plants I daily walk through. The fit was nice but I really I just wish it took less time to break in. And I wish there was an option for composite toe as well. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my ankles and feet are affected and heavy stinks. I will say that customer service was fast with an initial buckle coming off and I feel like the mission of the company makes me want to buy more. I just wish the toe was a little wider. For a wide it wasn’t really super wide.

The top layer pealed off in about 1/2” diameter spot on my first day wearing it. And just when I was wiping the dust with a paper towel, a scratch was left behind. The finish is not as sturdy as I would have hoped for leather shoes. The top edge scraped my legs quite painfully on the first wear as well but that seems to have softened.
