My son, who is my business partner in our construction company, was searching for steel toed boots for me. I refused to buy any for obvious reasons. I may be a carpenter, but I still want to look cute. And I didn’t think they would be comfortable. But I gave in when he found a company founded by women for women. I love the first pair of boots I got a couple of weeks ago. So much so that I just received my second pair. Our specialty is custom cabinets. We spend a lot of our day up and down the ladder, crawling around laying out boards, back-and-forth to the saw, and I am impressed that my feet do not hurt when I wear these boots. I would blow through tennis shoes like you wouldn’t believe. These boots are awesome! Rock on, ladies! Thank you, thank you!

These boots are great. It took maybe a day or two til they got really comfortable. Unfortunately the weird tile floors at the restaurant I work at make it so that any water on the floors causes me to slip. However at the auto shop with concrete floors, I've stepped in oil, coolant, transmission fluid, random puddles, etc and never even noticed. No slipping at all on asphalt and concrete in the rain either. Plus they're stylish and, in black, go with pretty much every outfit I have.

I've worn my new boots for two weeks now, and I love them. They are comfortable, comparatively lightweight, more my style, and much less clunky than the boots they replaced. I loath traditional work boots you get at the store, they're always too bulky, either too hot or too loose. These are lightweight and way more comfortable to wear all day compared to my old Red Wings and Keens. Even though I am a guy (with smaller than average shoe size for my height, obviously), these fit amazingly and I honestly will never buy another brand of boots and am 1000% happy to support this company and their mission with my business now and in the future. I've only had them for about a month so we'll see how their durability goes, but as of now I give them a 20/10, highly recommend.

My first pair of steel toe shoes I needed for work and I was worried about breaking them in but found they are incredibly comfortable! They're so stylish, I keep getting asked if they're steel toe😅 I've been able to wear them for 12 hour days with no complaints! I'm usually a size 9.5 Wide. but sized up to a 10 Wide, and the fit is perfect. I love that the laces can be tied to whatever feels most comfortable and since day one I only had to loosen them up a bit and now can rely on the zipper. I can't wait to buy a second pair in a different style!

The Spice boots are absolutely worth every penny. ❤️ I got them mainly to keep from wearing my work-issued Red Wings to death, but they’ll make perfect backups for work too. Having to frequently change between safety shoes and cleanroom shoes multiple times a day, I actually appreciate the ‘quick escape’ zippers on the sides. 😂

These boots are comfy, easy to put on and take off (zipper!), and look great. I wore them for the first time volunteering to a community cleanup day, after wearing them around the house a few times, and my feet were super happy! I got some compliments too, bonus! The only issue I have (and I have this with most shoes) is the toebox is not wide enough for my ample toes. Fortunately I have a boot stretcher and can make them accommodate :)

I kept getting notifications to review this product before I even had a chance to break them in properly. So now that I’ve broken them in.. it is a bit uncomfortable at first but as the day goes on once you wear proper socks it’s fine. The durability However is my concern. I’m not even working with equipment I’m sitting at a desk and brushed the front of my right boots against my desk and it peeled in that area. Brand new shoe that peeled just from brushing a wooden desk… not worth it Does not look good anymore looks like it wear and tear after months when it’s only been about 2 weeks of wearing continuously.

Keeping with the suggestion, I ordered a half size larger. Personally, it is not needed and the boots are larger than needed. I will have to wear double socks so they do not flop about like a clown. Next, the insole. For the price of the boot, you probably shouldn’t feel the ground underneath you… I really wanted to love the boot but I definitely wouldn’t suggest it to anyone. My ugly CAT boots were cheaper and much more comfortable. Side note: the shoelaces were not the same size

Omg these shoes are so comfortable to walk on all day and I like that they are made especially for women because they are not bulky they are cute. Also I wear a size 9 and so since my foot is skinny/narrow I ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly so yes I'm happy with my purchase of these steel toe boots!!!

I kept getting numerous notifications to review this before I even had a chance to break them in. At first glance, it’s a very eye pleasing boot.. then I broke in for about two weeks… As with any other shoe I’ve broken in, it is uncomfortable at first but as each day went on and with proper socks it’s fine. I do not work with any equipment I’m based in an office on a sea port which of course has strict safety standards. Just like the saying goes, “looks aren’t everything” pretty much sums this up. The durability is a major concern for me with this one. My right boot brushed the underside of my desk and it looks like I took a weapon of some sort and starting peeling of the leather… brand new boot peeling from a wooden desk? Nah! It looks horrible now and I feel like I wasted my money. I expect this kind of thing after a longer period of time with serious wear and tear.. not after 2 weeks of wearing and then tearing..

Love the style, but not sure if I like the fit. I ordered the wide and they are still not wide enough in the toe box area. I wish they followed the natural foot shape instead of rounding to a point like most shoes. And yet there is too much room on top of the instep so it is kind of baggy looking when I tighten the laces. Would be good for someone with high instep.

My experience with these boots have been horrible and painful. I bought these boots hoping they would be comfortable and a little durable for work wear but unfortunately I was wrong. I followed the recommended 1/2 size up and the boots fit well but they are just too uncomfortable and cause blisters. I continued to wear them because I really wanted to like them. The style is the reason for my purchase (also wanted to support women businesses) but after multiple attempts to wear them I gave up. Also would like to mention a zipper broke and the other boots lace loop above the string holes tore apart. Now the boots are just thrown in the closet. Pretty disappointed considering the steep price but I'm hoping my local cobbler can work some magic. Perhaps it's just my experience but I really gave these boots a go.

These boots are super cute and sleek for work! You can tell they’ve been made with quality and care. I do have to say in my situation these boots are pretty uncomfortable. I used the size chart, went up in size like recommended and they still really really hurt right above the heal. It hurt so bad I had to switch to my old boots. The amount of relief I felt stepping into my old boot was extremely disappointing. Xena has the look down, just needs to work on practicality. These boots are great for someone who steps into the job site field for an hour or so, but not so much for an actual all day worker out there. I can tell just by the way the boot is built the heal will be painful when these boots are worked in.

Four stars only because the toes are a little tight even on a wide. I’m between 7-7.5W depending on the shoe. Length fit normal-kinda wish I had ordered a 7 instead, but I definitely needed a wide. They did break in well and are very comfortable as long as I wear thicker socks. I did swap the insoles for WalkFit (acknowledging this removes static dissipating properties, but majorly helps my back. Super stylish though, and I love the zipper on because my company requires a 6” boot with laces, and this speeds things up immensely.
