★★☆☆☆Disappointing compared to the Chelsea Boots :/
Previously, I had bought the Chelsea boot in a size 7. I am usually a 6.5, but the website said to round up a size. When they came they were a little big, but I just dealt with it. And I LOVED those boots. I wore them every day for a year until the zippers broke and they were scratched to ****. The boots could have lasted a lot longer if the zipper hadn’t broke. They were comfortable once they were broken in, but the break in process was ****. By the time the year was up, they were so big that my foot was sliding around WITH thick socks. Comfortable but not exactly safe. Flash forward to getting a new pair. I got a new job, so I got a different style of boot. I got these as a gift from my grandma because I raved about them so much. I asked her to get them true to size since the last pair started big and ended bigger. This was a mistake. The boots fit my foot size, but the steel toe box was so incredibly small and the heel was so rigid that I had to wear two pairs of thick socks with layers of band aids to prevent me from limping. The break in process took about EIGHT MONTHS. And it wasn’t my feet breaking in the shoes, it was the shoes breaking in my feet. I now have such severe corns and permanent calluses and blisters that my feet can now conform to the shoe. My bunions have also gotten worse. The worst part is, I just know that if I had gotten a bigger size, I would have the same problems except in a size too big. I kept wearing the shoes out of hope, but now I think I’ll either go back to the Chelsea boots or try out Blundstones. Such a shame since these boots are quite the investment. Otherwise, the leather and steel toe holds up incredibly well and I never have any doubts about slipping or feeling unsupported in these boots.

I love my new boots! They are perfect for my role...sometimes in the field and sometimes in a meeting. They serve as a work boot and also look good. I've searched for a lace up boot with a zipper option and these checked both off the list, plus the lava color is fantastic. I typically wear a 9.5-10 and have a kind of wide foot. I initially ordered a 9.5 but had to return it. I then ordered the 10 wide and it's perfect. I also appreciate the arch support in these boots. The return process was the easiest I've ever experienced and there wasn't a charge for returning.

I love these boots. You cannot tell they're steel toes. My supervisor even asked me if they were lol. Good thing they ARE and they come with a certification card as well! If you have wide feet, these are not going to work for you because they run narrow which works for me because I have VERY skinny feet. That's part of what makes them look so sleek and not bulky. I love XENA workwear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once the leather in them stretched out a bit they were to big for me to wear and were already creased so I am unable to return. I orders half a size up like recommended, which was a mistake. Summary: Order true to size and give them a few days. I WILL be reordering the correct size for me because I loved them so much! I will take my loss on the first pair I ordered.

I highly recommend Xena workwear shoes! This is my 2nd pair, since I wanted to try some in a different style for outfit variety. I was expecting a long wait time or something else that they needed but they were so quick to resolve my problem! These shoes are so comfy. I really enjoy using them. I have arthritis in one of my feet so finding shoes that I can stand in, walk in or even sit for long periods of time is very difficult for me. These shoes fit perfectly and sometimes I even forget I have a bad foot hehehe.

My partner Ash is a strong, independent, and super handy she/they and has made their new project converting a 30 year old school bus into an RV for our adventures! They were in desperate need for some real, durable-but-cute work boots. I tried looking thru several other top-of-the-line brands (Timberland, Carhartt, Wolverine) but my love has a specific sense of style and none of them were what she wanted. Enter, Xena! When I found this brand, I was shocked at the quality to price ratio. Competitively priced, but with a really sleek, unique look. We went with the Spice EH Safety Boot. When the boots arrived, there was a slight imperfection (one of the steel toes was at a slight but noticeable slant) and Ash was disappointed, but when I asked if we could send them back and try another pair, the Xena team's response was quick and reasonable. The new boots have barely left Ash's feet! They look so cute and we LOVE that Xena is woman-owned and doesn't sacrifice comfort or style for durability. So far (2 months later) after using them every day for hours, these boots haven't worn out nearly as quickly as my Timbs did when I got them new back in 2018 and was using them the same amount. Cannot recommend Xena enough--I've been telling all my homegirls about them and will continue to! Anytime is the right time to switch to a Woman-Power brand with great values AND great style. ;) xoxo, Carmella

I wear these bc I paid $200 for them. Hoped they'd break in or something but after a year my feet still hurt after a day of wearing these. They are the worst for being on your feet all day, up and down ladders, kneeling etc. I am an electrician and would not recommend these for construction work, I think they're just meant to be cute.

I was impressed by how comfortable and supportive these were! I am normally in an office environment, but needed steel toe boots for a week doing assembly training. I went from sitting most of my day to standing 10+ hours. I also didn't have time to break boots in. The arch support and cushion near the heel are fantastic. My feet and knees felt good at the end of the day, and I had no blisters. I liked having the side zipper for getting them on/off easily, but also having the laces for adjustability. They looked good too, and I can see myself wearing them outside a safety toe environment. Definitely worth the investment!

To me, the boots are beautiful but I am giving it two stars because it fits me tight from my toes and the steel hurts a lot they are so painful that it made me a blister, I only wear it two days and couldn’t anymore., I didn’t wanted to return it because I used it for two days. I love these shoes yet I am always scuffing them up. They do their job 100% and keep my toes safe and are super comfortable. I just find it hard to keep the leather on them looking nice. My first pair lasted 2 years. These are my second pair and I kid you not I damaged the leather on the first day I wore them to work. Maybe that's a skill issue on my end it was just a little upsetting. I work in EMS as an EMT so do with that what you will.

I absolutely love these shoes. I’ve worked in industrial plants and new construction environments for nearly 10 years, and finding truly comfortable, professional safety footwear has always been a challenge. Men’s safety shoes never fit me correctly, and my role often requires transitioning quickly from meeting with high-level customers in an office to climbing through an active refinery. These shoes strike that balance perfectly. They are extremely comfortable, meet the strict PPE requirements I work under, and still look polished and professional. I’ve personally tested the steel toe in real-world conditions (thankfully without injury), and the shoes have consistently performed as intended. I’ve also never had issues with chemical exposure degrading the material or finish. This is my third pair, and they are the only safety shoes I will buy while working in the oil and gas industry.

Love this shoe. This is the second time I'm ordering it bc I wore my last pair into the ground after 2.5 years of sometimes daily wear. I wear a normal size in normal shoes but a size wide in these shoes to make the steel toe not dig into my foot.
