Love, love, love my Spice Safety Boots! Got them for motorcycle riding and they provide the support I need while being comfortable and yes, seriously badass! Couldn't be more satisfied, and oh, the leather smell as I opened the box was enough to know that this is quality leather - and workmanship. For info, I normally use a size 8/EUR 39, but I ordered 9 in these and while a little roomy I know that 8.5 would be too tight.

I had to retire my old boots and have been searching for a new pair. I wanted to love them but they don't hold up on my sites. I've only worn them one week and I already having gouging in the leather. They are so cute but after 12+ hours a day onsite my feet hurt so much. I will continue to my search because these are cute but not functional.

Beautiful shoe. Large toe box with super comfortable insole. I work in a manufacturing plant and am constantly kneeling, walking up metal stairs, squeezing in tight spots and these have been SO comfortable even right out of the box. Really stylish. These boots are ridiculously comfortable! They are so cute and perfect for Site Safety Inspections! I spend 50% of my time in the office and 50% of my time in the field so I needed something that I could not only wear in office but in the field. They are perfect for that. They look professional but also meet PPE requirements while on site. I am beyond happy with these boots and couldn't be more grateful that this woman owned company came up with cute comfortable boots that work with all my outfits. After 600 miles wearing the Spice model on my motorcycle, I'm enjoying the quality, the styling, the sizing through the ankle, and the sole grip. Lace length is perfect. But the wide size leather body connects to what seems to be a regular size toe cap, as it pinches into my fourth toe. Can wear these for on the highway, but if I wanted to shift in stop-and-go traffic or stand all day the relatively narrow toe cap would definitely remove skin. Future designs may want a wide toe option to go with the wide size.

I bought the Spice Safety Boot in Mystic Dune and I could not be happier. I started working in a position where I would have to be on my feet 50% of the time walking around a big industrial railway plant. They are stylish, without compromising safety, and are quite comfortable. Wore them around the house for maybe 10-12 hours with good socks on to break them in and they were work ready. They aren't hot and heavy and even look good walking around the office. I've never had to wear steel toed safety boots for work before and I'm so glad I got in on the preorder for these. Really are excellent and worth all the money! The suggested sizing up is correct too. I wear a true 8 1/2 Women's and the 9 fit perfectly.

These boots are awesome! I was using the indestructible shoes as my steel toe shoes for work but these boots are way better. They’re also easier to clean. Best Safety Shoes/Boots ever! I've always had a struggle with finding good fitting safety shoes. Because of my wide feet, I've had to use mens shoes, but they still fit different. These shoes fit perfect, just bought a half size larger in wide! I got complements from it!!! No one can believe they're steel toe shoes! I just bought the Spice Boots and love them as well!

First of all, the boots are absolutely adorable. They look beautiful, and looks like it's made very well as well. However, they are the most uncomortable set of boots I've ever owned. And I've been wearing steal toes for the last 10+ years. Unfortunately it was not designed with comfort in mind. Not for long hours standing and moving anyway.

I’ve bought two other pairs of Xena’s before these and I have to say that while I love them all, these are by far my favorite!! They fit so well and I was surprised that I didn’t need any time to break them in. The lining is soft and comfortable and there’s no rubbing on the sides. Everything fits well around my foot and it’s not snug anywhere. I went up half a size (as recommended) and they fit perfectly!

Boots look nice and run 1/2-size small as previously mentioned. However, I'm not sure how women on their feet all day are supposed to find them comfortable. I literally own pairs of flip-flops that have more cushioning and support in the foot bed! Even with a second insole inserted, I can feel every pebble I step on and my feet are tired and sore at the end of each day. Also, after only the third day of wear, the shoelace grommets had rusted so badly they turned my ankles orange THROUGH my socks. I would have taken advantage of the 30-day return policy Xena touts; however, wearing the boots outside the house -- even once -- voids that policy. (Incidentally, Xena also says it may take a week of wear for the boot to actually feel comfortable... so by the time you know whether they'll work for you or not, there's no chance of returning them.) Overall, these boots are good for mild to moderate use -- a cute option for ladies who ride motorcycles or work mostly in an office but occasionally visit industrial/construction areas. If you spend all day on your feet, though, you're better off buying something less cute but more functional.

The boots were heavy (as a steel toe) and our current site has a lot of intense sloping and divots/gopher holes, so I didn’t think these would work for me. BUT. If you are comfortable with/need a steel toe, they are beautiful and so sturdy. I could foresee boots with this level of quality being destroyed thru work and still lasting quite a few years. Overall, I am disappointed they didn’t work for me specifically bc I liked them so much! Maybe someday in the future there will be non steel toe options.

I’m usually between a 6-6.5 but after hearing about sizing up I ordered a 7. They were huge so I exchanged for a 6.5. It took 3 months but I finally got the replacement and they are still a bit big, if I got them at a store and was able to try on different sizes I bet I would have gotten a 6. I’m not sure why everyone says to size up and I’m definitely not exchanging them again. I might return them, after such a long wait the disappointment is a bit overwhelming. They are not particularly comfortable but they do seem well made and they smell amazing!! Love the smell of leather.
