My first ever pair of steel toe boots and I couldn’t have asked for a better pair! I’m new to this industry and have worn these daily for two weeks now, lots of walking and standing, and they are so comfortable I don’t even know I’m wearing them. I usually wear a size 5.5, but with a nice pair of boot socks, a 6 fit me perfectly. Highly recommend these and Xena - I will be a returning customer!

Super comfortable right out of the box. The first comfortable steel toes I’ve ever worn. Look beautiful, craftsmanship is lovely. One caveat. They are not durable. I wear mine at a glass shop, where I work reception, and there is already a massive gouge in the leather of the toe. Other than wearing them in the office, I’ve walked my dog in them twice, and have had them barely over a week. I won’t return them, but I won’t be buying them again. Which makes me really quite sad. The search continues for THE boot.

I wore my boots for a week long tour of a manufacturing facility. Walked about 20 miles that week! They were so comfortable that I ended up wearing them a few times out afterwards. I am so happy with the visual appearance of these boots! I will try a different type next time since they're so close to being perfect. I bought a wide and find that the toebox is too small. It pinches where my pinky toe/fourth toe lies on the seam of the steel toe. If the toebox was widened, it would be a 5/5 stars. I'm going to try and break them in even though I know the steel isn't going to budge.

Love my new boots! The suggestion to size up was great. I usually wear 7, can squeeze into a 6.5, but purchased a 7.5 and would definitely not have been happy with anything smaller. They are really sturdy, but even while you are wearing them in, they don’t rub to cause blisters. And I was pleasantly surprised at the arch support, and how cute they are! Thanks!

I love these shoes. They're so cute, comfortable and steel toe they were almost perfect except unfortunately, they're not non slip. I work in a restaurant and I would love for these to be my everyday shoes but they can't be. Unfortunately so many companies say they are non slip but actually aren't. If they were to ever fix these boots to be non slip I would 100% buy them again. For reference, if you look up sketchers non slip work shoes and look at the bottom of them that is what a non slip shoe looks like. I really hope they fix them to be more like that so I can purchase again. But SUPER CUTE I'll wear them regardless just not for work. (I added the xena boots vs sketchers shoes to show the engraving of the grip texture. I know my review probably won't change anything, but here's to hoping)

I get compliments from my coworkers (all genders) and look forward to growing my collection of Xena footwear. Sizing: I normally buy 10’s but am a “small” 10 - a 9.5 almost fits. For the Spice boot, I wear a 10W and it’s fine, including with warm socks. Still, no I’d be curious to try a 10.5 instead but…shipping 🤷♀️

I wanted to love these boots so much and was beyond excited for something not as bulky but I’m so disappointed. I broke them in for two days and have worn them at work for 3 days now. They’re extremely painful on the tops and bottoms of my feet. There is zero cushion and support in them. For work boots I’d expect something comfortable to be on my feet all day. The zippers don’t seem to stay all the way up throughout the day and the leather is already so beat up. Not being able to return them either is such a loss. I’m now stuck with $170 boots that I can’t do anything with. Don’t make my mistake and read only the good reviews 😭😭

I was really hoping these lovely boots would work out. I was eyeing a few different brands for a few months before deciding on these. I purchased a half size larger than my usual and I wore them for a couple of weeks indoors for a few hours at a time. At first there was moderate discomfort at my pinky toes and after a couple of weeks the discomfort was mild so I thought I would give them a go at work but as the day progressed the discomfort got to be too much to stand. I thought maybe my wool socks were just too thick so I tried again with a thinner pair but I had the same issue. I thought I would just pass them on to my daughter but they rubbed on her pinky toes as well. Lovely boots and nice quality though. I wish there was some measurements to determine if one needs to purchase the wide size.

I needed safety boots for periodic plant visits and did a search for "chic steel toe boots." Behold the Spice boots! I ordered these in black and despite the recommendation to size up I ordered my normal size (9.5 regular width) because the larger sizes weren't available. These actually fit very well in my normal size. I have a narrow heel (so cannot wear most wide widths) with a wide forefoot and moderate bunions on both feet. The Spice boots do not cause me pain and are comfortable the whole workday. I wear medium cushion wool socks with them. They took 4 days to break in - I started with 1 hour the first day, 2 hours the second, and a few hours the next couple of days with walks outdoors. After that they were much more comfortable. I love that the Spice boot still looks feminine and chic while getting the job done!

I made a mistake in inputting my address and there was an issue with delivery, but this was fixed within the space of an hour, Jerilyn was incredibly kind and helpful. The boots arrived quickly after that and are absolutely lovely. They fit very well aside from the heels/lower ankle being slightly loose, but this is probably due to them being brand new leather boots, and needing to be broken in before I can lace them tight enough. They are super comfortable and have great arch support, and the color (mystic dune) is gorgeous.

I really wanted to like these but after years of wearing men's boots with a nice roomy toe box, I really hate how these have pointed, tiny toe boxes. My toes feel crushed all day, and after walking in these for a few hours my toes are either numb or hurt from hitting the steel top of the boot, especially with thick winter boot socks on. I guess the pointed toes are more feminine looking than my men's boots, but that's not a thing I care about when I'm at work. I'm trying to break these in still but I can't wear them for more than short periods of time. I will probably end up switching back to men's boots.

★★☆☆☆Wore Them for a Year - They Never Quite Felt Comfortable
NOTE: I work in a heavy industrial environment and walk about 8,000 steps a day. I really wanted to love these. I know from the reviews many, many women do. I just never found them to be comfortable. And I very patiently tried many different things to try and make them work. I did order a half size up. They were tight in the toe box at first and it took 6 weeks for that to feel better. By then I had been realizing my heels and pads of my feet were hurting and decided there wasn't enough padding so bought additional shoe inserts, but then that brought my toes closer to the top of the toe box and they started hurting for that reason. It took about 3 months and they ended feeling fine but never all the way comfortable. My toes were always a little cramped either at the top or the sides. I wore them for so long because after 3 months they were mostly ok and I loved how easy they were to get into because of the zipper! What a great idea! I tried on the Horizon at the same time I tried these and they felt comfortable right out of the box and I could tell the toe box was bigger and there was more padding. Now, I wish I had gone with the Horizon's instead, but the zipper was so enticing and I figured I could break these in!

I was looking for a pair of comfortable yet stylish safety toe boots for work. These were exactly what I was looking for. They pair well with everything from jeans and skirts to dress pants and blazers, making it easy to look professional at the job site. Most work boots out there are difficult to dress up. The boots and insoles are also extremely comfortable. I got my usual size and they didn’t feel too tight at all. I walk 10k+ steps and stand all day in them without my feet hurting too much (my feet will still get sore just from walking so much!). The only exception was getting a small blister when breaking them in on the first day of wear. Overall, such a great investment. I hope they last a long time and wear beautifully over time.
