I love how cushiony these safety shoes are! I am excited to wear them, as opposed to my previous safety shoes. The only complaint is that I can feel where the safety toe starts with my big toe (it's a little uncomfortable, but I'm getting used to it). So I maybe could have sized up from my normal shoe size.

I work with magnets, so need a composite toe. Most women's composite are not comfortable or feminine. I love that these shoes were made specifically for women, by women! When I wear them, they don't feel like I'm wearing safety shoes. I don't hear the clompity-clomp of my shoes and I feel like I'm walking on clouds! I have had such a hard time finding shoes that fit my needs. They have to be comp toe and SD rated for my job and my choices are limited. I had basically accepted that my shoes were gonna be ugly and uncomfortable. I took a chance on these and I will never get a different pair of work shoes. They were instantly comfortable and don’t feel like comp toes. There was almost no awkward break in period. They are so cute and I love the little messages inside the shoes. I did order a size up and they may be a teensy bit big, but not uncomfortably so, especially with thicker socks. I have plenty of space in the toe box for once! I will be back for these every year for the rest of my career!

Love these shoes!! They are kinda huge-looking but way smarter than wearing men boots. You should definitely follow suggestion to get used to wearing them over a few days at home...they fit differently than regular shoes and my feet and legs needed time to adjust. I got the composite model and was very happy!

My feet are super thankful!!! These wonderful shoes are the best relief for my feet. I have been in manufacturing for 22 years, and finally I found the most comfortable shoes. The next day the shoes were delivered I put them on for work. Through out my work shift I was walking up and down. My feet were relaxed. Didn't feel the composite toe either. The shoes are light, slip proof. Have been wearing the shoes for weeks and still very satisfied. Thinking of ordering the boots next. Finally shoes that were made for the comfort of hard working women!!!!!!!

I usually never order a wide shoe in any composite toe shoe but I would need it in this style shoe. The heel is very comfortable and cushioned, but the composite toe box rubs on both sides of my toes. They are so cute! But I’m very disappointed a wide isn’t offered. I did size up a half size and the worked well for the length.

Astra is the 5th pair of Xena's I own. All others are different versions of boots. I am a tennis shoe girl if I can be. Without long details, comfortable shoes are hard for me find due to an accident from my younger years. My expectations of the Astra were not set high; due to any version of safety toe tennis shoe I have tried has been heavy, bulky and not comfortable. Astra blew it out of the park! These are just as comfortable as another brand I wear outside of work. The safety toe seems not existent and the comfort level is amazing. My 2nd day wearing them to work I thought I would give them a try at my second job as a bartender/server. Typically, by the end of my shift my lower back has a lot of discomfort. I did not experience this after my shift. The point is give these shoes a chance. They are truly amazing!

I was super hopeful for these safety toes and they're really cute, but definitely not for someone with slightly wider feet or if your feet swell as the day goes on. I don't normally have to wear a "wide" shoe, but these are a bit narrow and I can only wear them for a certain length of time before I start getting the nerve irritation. Otherwise, they're built well, super cute, and we love a good woman owned business!
