The Nova riding boot is my 4th pair of Xenas. I love every single pair of them! The riding boots are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly around my calf with room for a pair of pants inside. I have two young kids and am constantly going to sports/activities after work and I can go from work to the activities and still feel like a stylish woman. If you are thinking about these boots (or any of the other Xena shoes), stop thinking and just get them! They are amazing and you WILL NOT regret it. When I bought my first pair, I reached out to customer service and they were so incredibly helpful. This is a great company with a great product!

I love the style boot and very comfortable. It’s a struggle for women to look cool in steel toe boots but these definitely do the trick. Shopping for warm socks though, they are cold because of the steel toe in the wintertime.

It was a little tough to find the right fit in the beginning. I do wish there was a wide foot option with a regular calf, instead of just wide foot:wide calf. Overall the customer service, as well as my overall shopping experience, was phenomenal and I appreciate everyone that helped me find a sister size! The ease of exchanging items is also a plus.

I'm a veterinarian who has worked in two federal agriculture agencies around livestock - in livestock markets, on farms, and in packing plants. Packing plants, especially, require steel toed or safety footwear. Finally, a pair of safety boots that are lightweight and stylish! Indistinguishable from any quality pair of equestrian boots. I have super skinny calves and most knee high boots are never tight enough in the calf. I'm a 7 1/2 in most every shoe/boot, but sized up to 8 after reading several recommendations to do so. Glad I did - also opted for the narrow calf. Will take a few days to break in, but that's normal for safety footwear.

These are great! I just got them so they need a little breaking in, but so far my most comfortable Xena's yet, this is my 3rd pair over 3 years. The other 2 pairs I have are still great too. I'm a sneaker size 8, flats size 7 or 7.5 and I got these in an 8 and they fit perfectly.

I was so thrilled to find this company! Absolutely love the style of the Nova EH Safety Riding boot! I did have some size issues. The first pair I ordered, I ordered 1/2 size up as recommended but also ordered the wide calf. They were very, very large in the calf area on me. I ended up exchanging them for the regular width calf, however these are very difficult to get on due to the tightness in the calf. I think a stretchier elastic band in the calf area would totally fix the problem. Absolutely love the quality and the look though. Very comfortable. Thank you Xena ❤️

LOVE LOVE LOVE these. As always, order a half size up and wide (unless you have a narrow foot.) Fit is perfect and I can’t wait to wear them. I ordered the wide calf because I always do with boots. That way I have room for leg warmers or whatever. Wit these though, I wish I would have gotten the normal calf size just because they aren’t meant to be form fitting so there’s a lot of room to begin with. I might put a buckle on them to cinch it in because I want to wear them asap and I’m too impatient to return and wait all over again. They’re perfect!

I bought these Xena boots for my daughter who works in restaurant management. She is required to have slip proof footwear and it has been a struggle to find attractive boots that are actually slip proof. These boots were perfect, and they are beautiful. They came beautifully packaged in a sturdy box with individual bags for each boot. I had to return for a different size and it was a smooth and trouble free process. They were worth their price in quality and service.

After ordering a pair of Gravity ESD Safety Shoes and really liking them, I decided to try the Nova Riding Boots as well. My original order was in black, but I overshot on size (my size wasn't available in the black option). After receiving them I decided to exchange for an accurate size in the brown Chestnut color instead. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the brown boots, but I LOVE them! They are stylish and very easy to walk in for 12+ hours. I can't say enough good things about Xena safety shoes. Definitely looking forward to what comes out next. Thank you so much!

Sometimes pictures can be deceiving, but these boots are just as good-looking in person. I was pleasantly surprised. My only concern is that the material by my ankles is on the stiff side. I am hopeful it will loosen up a little as I wear them more. (I have only worn them twice now.) I was searching for a professional-looking steel toe as I am a Sales Representative, and need to dress a certain way during customer visits. These fit the bill. Also, they are lightweight and easy to wear all day with minimal foot fatigue. 'And the fact that this is a women-owned business in WI (my state) won my heart!! Keep kicking a** ladies!

I have worked in manufacturing for quite a few years now with various companies. The company I am now with requires that I dress business casual and wear steel toes. This has been quite the challenge being female trying to find business acceptable pants like slacks that go well with steel toes. These riding boots allow me to wear slacks over them or to wear fitted dress pants inside them. I can meet the safety requirements and look decent, and it has made all the difference to me. I love the flexibility and the style that come with these shoes! They are a little awkward compared to the standard $200 leather boots (likely because of all the safety features) and I actually had to go up a size and a half rather than just one. But when I reached about the fit issue on my first pair, they dropped the exchange pair in the mail the same day I shipped the first pair back, no waiting! Fantastic customer service!

I received my pair a couple of weeks ago - went for the full wardrobe and ordered Gravitys, Fusions & Novas so I could completely swap out all my current office shoes for the Xenas. Absolutely no regrets, I cannot get over how comfortable these all are - and are a MAJOR improvement on the shoes I had previously! I ordered a wide foot and ended up going a full size up on the shoes and 1.5 sizes up on the Novas (for big winter socks) . I do notice my pinky toe touching the steel cap ridge on the inside but have not found it an issue yet. NZ-made shoes seem to be huge by comparison , so any other Kiwis reading this , take note!!! (Doc Martens by comparison, sz US 8/EUR39, about an extra inch of room, sloppy fit, compared with Xena 8.5 , EUR39, snug fit, 5mm room. These shoes seem to be made out of much thicker material than the average shoe but this gives it a reinforced & sturdy feel) This was a day dream fantasy for me about 5 years ago to have NICE stylish steel caps rather than the clunky men's shoes we normally get for work. I absolutely LOVE these boots! As a female Project Manager in the construction industry I am out on-site daily checking my jobs. I have never been able to find a boot that is not only comfortable, but transitions from office to field so well!
