Unfortunately I can't leave a fair review of Xena's boots, I'm really only doing this because I keep getting emails about it. They don't make my size, and according to the customer service rep who responded to me, have no plans of making my size. according to their sizing chart I am a 5.5, which is the only half size they do not make. I'm used to having a hard time finding my size and typically would be able to make it work by lacing tightly enough to keep my heels locked into the back of the boot but the construction of the inertia boot doesn't allow for it. They seem like good boots, I'm sad I couldn't keep them.

I love the durability & style of these boots. I was looking for something fashionable but sturdy to wear with skinny jeans at work. These are perfect for skinny jeans. It definitely is taking time to break them in. I wore them just once then twice a week for a few weeks to adjust.

This is my second pair of Xenas and I absolutely ADORE them! It took me a while to break them in (like my first pair of Xenas), but once broken in they're really comfy! I work backstage on an ice show, and the fact that these are waterproof AND don't have any metal make them perfect for what I do. The only complaint I have is that the laces are a bit too long for me, but it's not so much of an issue that I'd swap for different boots. Thanks Xena!

I LOVE my new boots! I got the desert sand color since I knew I was going to be dealing with lots of dust and the lighter one will not look too dirty compared to the black. Also, it will help keep my feet stay cooler when walking the job site in the summer. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package to try to “break-in” the boots. It was already soft and comfortable! I just wore it on a 16 hour job walk and have no complaints about it being uncomfortable in anyway. Customer service was very helpful in helping me decide the size since the shoe chart with the feet measurement didn’t match with the advice to go a half size up. I would have needed a 9 based on that chart but I typically wear an 8 so would only need a 8.5 boots. Ordered the 8.5 and it was the perfect fit! Highly recommend it! Because it doesn’t look like construction boots, I plan to wear it on casual days both in the office and on my daily errands.

I am a civilian working at the Aircraft Depot where I am always on the go and safety shoes are required. I like to wear a size larger, so my toes are not cramped. These boots are by far the most comfortable out of numerous pairs of footwear that I've owned in the past. Very well made, not bulky, relatively lightweight, enough support and cushion for prolonged standing/walking. Well worth the money!

Wide-calf friendly! These shoes are such a game changer - I've tried other style slip on or zip up boots that never fit my calves. The lace-up style allows for fit customization. Love having stylish women's safety toe boots after years of having to wear men's styles. I did end up having to put in orthotic insoles. If you do a lot of walking, I recommend you do the same. These hurt my feet after a few hours, but most shoes do!

I usually wear standard width women's shoes. I ordered a size 10 wide and the steel toe is too narrow. The rest of the fit is wide on me and it's laced to the point that the two sides are nearly touching, the issue is only the steel toe width. I'm waiting for size 11 to come back in stock so I can see if that is a better fit. I contacted customer support about the narrow issue and was advised that I should wear the 10W's around the house in the mean time, because they might fit better after wearing for a while. I'll update once I get it resolved.

These boots are wonderful--I work at a manufacturing plant and for the one month I've had them, they seem to have amazing quality. My only qualm is, having just left wearing combat boots for nearly a decade with the Army, they aren't the most well-fitted boot (in comparison to combat boots, I wouldn't want to walk for miles and miles in these). That being said, I think these are definitely the best steel-toed women's boots I've found on the market, and will probably be getting them again in a few years down the line.

These boots fit very well right out of the box. I have narrower feet and it has been hard to find good safety booths that weren't super heavy and clunky - XENA has been the first pair of boots that have been comfortable and light enough to not tire my feet out all day. I don't work everyday in a manufacturing site and mostly go to mills for trials and visits and these boots have been good for a full 9-10 hour day on my feet! Great product and I highly recommend for all women with smaller/narrower feet.

I was able to put these shoes on straight out of the box and wear them for a whole 10 hour shift. Most new shoes I have wear half a day and change out because my feet hurt so bad. They definitely work for anti fatigue as well. The only problem I have is the back of the shoe rubs the back of my foot when I walk. I will need to put some extra padding for the back of my foot or else it may rub it raw.

I really wanted to like these and they looked great! My job requires be to be on my feet all day and I couldn't last with out adding additional insoles to the boots. 5 months into wearing them for work the inner heals fell apart, the inside soles had chunks missing and they were wearing through my socks. You could claim it was the additional insoles, but I have the same ones in multiple other pairs of shoes that I own. Disappointed, as my last two pairs of steel toes lasted me 3 years each. Replaced these after 6 months.

I love my Xena's, I've been wearing these boots for five years now. The one downside is I can't get a year's worth of wear out of them because the sole on the bottom of the boot begins to peel off. My boots get a lot of wear and tear but I would hope to be able to get a year out of them before needing to order a new pair.
