I love the aesthetic of these shoes! I also love what this company stands for and that it's by women, for women! Despite this, I have to drop a star because they're not as comfortable as I was hoping. I had to return the first pair I ordered because although I ordered according to the sizing recommendations, the shoes were so uncomfortable I wasn't able to get past it to the "breaking in" process. The return procedure was fairly easy, though the exchange part took longer than I was expected. I'd love to see these shoes with either a thicker, or more padded insole. Memory foam perhaps? Something that's soft, comfortable, and durable. Being on my feet all day, often for 16 hours a day, 5-6 days a week- my feet ACHE at the end of the day. I want to love my Xena's, but I can't love them until they're more comfortable.
