Y’all, this vest is the real deal. You can adjust the waist to meet the needs of you day/body/outfit with each wear. The attention to detail is incredible- I always love details like the Xena logo on the zipper and the rubber Xena/Dawson logo on the hem. I guarantee this vest will replace others in my closet for client visits!

Simple, modern and well made! The side pocket zippers are secure so I can store my keys, chapstick, ID etc easily. I didn’t cinch the waist but like the option. The length is perfect, not too long in the back. The front zipper comes up higher than a unisex vest, so this stays on my shoulders perfectly!! I am usually a Large in tops, the Large vest is perfect size to wear a t shirt or bulkier sweatshirt underneath. Appears easy to wash, but haven’t had to yet. Thank you Xena and Dawson for this collaboration!!

I love the badge pocket and extended hem. Those are both features that I haven't seen in a safety vest before. LOVE the functionality of this vest. The cinchable waist is a game changer since even the smallest sized generic ones that are provided on work sites are just massive amounts of fabric to contend with. I have to wear high vis occasionally at work, and I’ve always sort of dreaded it because every high vis vest manufactured is made 6’ tall barrel-chested dudes. As someone who is 5’4” and curvy, this always presented a challenge. So I was really delighted to try this vest. It’s so much more functional than a typical vest - I love love love the pockets, the cinchable waist (which is going to be so useful in the winter when I will want to uncinch it to get it around my coat), and generally how comfortable it is to wear. My only complaint is that it only comes in yellow, when my signature color is pink!

I have worn out now to two sites and unfortunately have to say disappointed. First, the fabric is not breathable at all and in already harsh non-climate controlled environments any area covered by this vest is sweating 2x the rest of me and second, there are no front pockets. I am unable to throw my cell phone (which I am looking at at least every five minutes) and have to carry in a side pocket, which ends up uncomfortable once I sit down. Also, the top portion "bunches up" when I sit down and creates large gaps in the arms. Feels like they did not testing with women actually...working...in the field (besides carrying around a clipboard) a lot of these things would have been noticed. Had been really excited Xena was coming out with this and overall disappointed especially for the price.

I found this vest to not be breathable. It’s it very hot. I would only wear this over a sweatshirt if I have to be outside. It’s too hot for a location that is hot. I also didn’t love the front material. It’s not comfortable and there is 0 stretch. I would size up and maybe it will be better for you. I did like the side pockets that zip.
